iOS 7 Beta 6 is Coming

Yes, the iOS 7 beta 5 is no longer the latest version of Apple’s upcoming mobile OS. Hours ago the Cupertino firm unleashed beta 6 to the world, which is available as an OTA update to current beta testers.

Apple Releases iOS 7 Beta 6

It was rumored earlier today that Beta 6 might be released next week, roughly two weeks after the release of Beta 5; however, the odd timing of this release — Apple traditionally releases new iOS betas to developers on Monday mornings — along with its small size, only 13.5MB on an iPhone 5, suggests that it could be some kind of urgent bug fix.

Apple has been overhauling the entire mobile software experience during each beta release to developers, sometimes dramatically changing design and user interface pieces.

The newest beta 6 arrives as build 11A4449d, and comes a little more than week after the previous beta 5, which had a build number of 11A4449a. Apple notes on the iOS Developer Center that the release fixes an “issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items.”

iOS 7 is scheduled for release in the fall of this year, with updates to Apple’s iPhone and iPad lineups expected around the same time. If past history is any indication, iOS 7 is possible to arrive just a few days before the launch of the next-generation iPhone.

Along with the iOS beta update, we also see Mac OS X update. The post How to Install Mac OS X Mavericks Beta 3 might give you some references.

Additional: iOS Update Cause you Lose iPhone Data, what to Do?

It’s common to lose data when updating iOS. As a result most people would back up iPhone data before iOS update. However, if you do not have the backup, there’s still a chance to recover data from iPhone after iOS update.

To do this, you need to first download a popular data recovery program called iPhone Data Recovery. This program is specially designed for iPhone users to recover photos, contacts, videos, notes, text messages and totally 12 kinds of iPhone contents directly from iPhone. You can free download it from Tenorshare and have a try.
